Prior to joining RE/MAX Real Estate, I had been involved in the residential real estate appraisal industry. This was quite valuable, as assessment of market value is quite objective in an appraisal, whereas home owners tend to want to place greater emphasis on subjective elements. These elements play a part in value but of much less significance than I seller may want to accept when selling their property. A home has many memories of a family growing up, sweat equity renovations that added improvements and various other cherished moments - what value do they add?
 
Personally, the last 25 years of community involvement had been in the Southwest communities of Royal Gardens, Greenfield and Blue Quill. I have served on the Royal Gardens Community League on the Executive as well numerous committees, Confederation Hockey Club, Southwest Zone Hockey Club, Warriors Lacrosse and Red Deer Freestyle Ski Club. I am currently an active member of the Gateway Rotary International.Having two grown boys, incidentally, that have just left the nest, sports was a big part of mine and my wife's life's as volunteers and cheerleaders.
 
I currently reside in the community of Twin Brooks.
